Hokkaido: Kiritappu1

While Iriomote Island is locateed in the furthest South-west of Japan, Kiritappu is in the
furthest North-east of Japan. Hikkaido is a northern big island. Hokkaido has low population density unlike other part of Japan and refreshing cool summer and cold winter,
which belong to the subarctic zone. Obviously, the nature and culture are very different from
Iriomote island, which belong to the tropical zone.
In Kiritappu, which is in the east of Hokkaido, I found horses eating grass on a grassy plain by the sea. The scenery in the cool air just before the sun setting seems very peaceful.
